Our BEAUTIFUL baby girl decided to come 10 days early and all on her own! (I think this little girl has her own schedule haha) But we could not be any happier, she is absolutely the biggest blessing and just the sweetest little angel you could ever hold in your arms!!
The story:
(its long-but I want to remember all the details)
So Robby and I have been trying all the tricks trying to get Rilee here so we could snuggle her and love her and just start that part of our lives. Let me just say, I have just absolutely LOVED being pregnant, I seriously would not trade it for the world! I had mixed emotions about my inducement date-I wanted to see her so badly but at the same time having her in my belly was just the most amazing thing and I just really wanted her to come when she was ready. So we started walking everyday together, 3 miles we would walk! I would start having mild contractions while we were walking and then the second we got in the car to go home from the gym, it completely stopped. I was told by several people about Raspberry Leaf Tea--nasty stuff but I drank 2 to 3 cups every day--nada. Online people said they usually went into labor right after they got their membranes stripped and I didn't even get any contractions or anything. It really was quite discouraging I must admit. So because we had set a inducement day for Thursday, we knew this weekend would at least be our very last just the two of us so we went out Friday and got some food and then slept in on Saturday until 11:30--it was AWESOME and the rest of the day we just stayed in and enjoyed some time to ourselves.

Sunday came and last Sunday Robby and I had joked about my water breaking in the middle of sacrament meeting and having to get up and walk out and just how embarrassing that would be--well haha it kinda happened..not in sacrament but Robby is the Sunday School teacher for I think the 14 year olds so I always just go with him and listen in while my cute little hubby teaches. The class ended and all the kids started to leave and I was sitting on the chair and had bent over to grab my purse and Robbys manual and when I came back up I felt a little wet(yeah gross but this is my story..) and I was just so embarrassed, I couldn't say anything. I always sit in my chair and wait till everyone leaves because it takes me a year to roll out of anything but this time I didn't want anyone to see my bum with a little wet spot...at the time I just thought it was my mucus plus because I read about that online that that happens. Robby was like come on lets go and I tried getting up but this wet feeling just got weirder and wetter and then all my fears about having my water break in public came rushing to my head and I was like no it couldn't be, that wouldn't happen! But it did. Robby was getting all excited and was like come on lets go get our bags and go to the hospital and I was like no i'll just stay sitting here because I knew if I got up-it would all just rush out. But the next class started to come in and if I didn't leave then, a lottt more people would have seen me in wet my dress! So we got home, packed our diaper bag because we hadn't done that before hand and called my mom. I've been calling her daily up to that point and every time she would answer after the first ring and answer all anxiously but it was never anything-until Sunday, you know, the day that she didn't answer after the first ring with an anxious hello. I said "Mom, my water broke" and she was freaking out...I love doing that to my mom :) I was pacing in and out of the bathroom to our bedroom and Robby was like "Oh yuck I just stepped in a wet spot" yeah, yuck...

So we got to the hospital and got in my really pretty hospital gown, got hooked up, they checked me and I was still dilated to a 3. I was pretty sure I'd be there for a lonnggg time waiting to dilate because my contractions weren't really that hard-I was kind of bummed..I wanted to get lots of back rubs from Robby and scream and be demanding and mean but it really wasn't as bad as the movies made it out to be. I was there for about an hour and they checked me again and I was a 4, then another hour later I was a 5 and then an hour after that i was a 6-and that is when I asked for my epidural--beautiful drug! My contractions were definitely harder, more consistent and more painful but still not as bad I was thinking but I knew it would probably get worse and I definitely did not want to go natural so it was then or never. Actually, the worst part was getting the epidural-Robby turned white and had to sit down haha aw I love that man. After I got my epidural, things went really quick-which I wasn't expecting. They came and checked me an hour after I got my epidural because my contractions were really hard and coming every minute or so-but I didn't feel a thing! I am telling you, its a beautiful drug. Anyways, when they came in to check me I was a 9 and about 30 minutes after that they prepped me to push.

I couldn't feel my legs so Robby and the nurse had to pick up my legs for me haha weirdest thing in the world seeing my legs in the air with no feeling of it. I got really light headed pushing because you aren't allowed to eat anything besides ice chips while you are in labor and I only had a clementine for breakfast so I was running on no food and I have low iron anyways so I had to take lots of breaks in between pushes. I kept feeling like I was going to throw up so they brought me a bag just in case, good thing they did because my last push was me throwing up and then she was here! Gross but true. Then they placed the sweetest, cutest slimy baby girl in my arms and I was instantly sooooo in love!!

I wish I could go back to that moment all the time and just relive it over and over and over again, it was the most amazing moment/experience to see this baby that I have felt move around in my tummy a million times and then get to hold her in my arms and see her move and squirm around and to remember exactly where in my belly she would do that. I don't know if that makes sense but ah, I just LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!!! Our little angel weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long of just pure perfection!
