oh hunting season, how bittersweet you can be

So this post wont make much sense to anyone who doesn't have a hunter in their lives-but fall can be rough! Since I am somewhat of an animal lover and want no harm done to any living thing, marrying a hunter was just the weirdest thing for me but he is my GREATEST blessing!

Anyways-hunting requires a lot of time and I require a lot of time-so poor Robby tries hard to balance his two loves. Being pregnant this fall, makes me a million times more sensitive and more emotional and probably more needy than ever, but i'm working on it. Luckily, I had the opportunity of going to education week at BYU last week and in some of the classes it hit me-I need to be more supportive of my husbands passion, even if I don't quite understand it. So this weekend the White boys all went hunting for opening day and was gone for what seemed like an eternity. They were coming home Saturday night so all day Saturday, I cleaned our place and actually got myself ready for the day and made this cake....

I don't know if you noticed-but "happy hunting" is made with sprinkles--it took me like 30 minutes to hand write with tiny sprinkles this message for Robby......and then Kona(our puppy) licked the icing right after I took this picture. But it made my hubnubs happy, so I was happy!

Then later that night I got in the shower and when I got out, this is what I saw...

I mean come on....do I have the sweetest husband ever? I really think I do! It's still there every time I get out of the shower now and it still gets me every time. I may not understand the joy of hunting for Robby, but I do understand it is something that he loves and such a huge part of who he is and I love him so stinkin' much!

things coming up:
-I am going hunting with Robby when he gets home from work today!
-We get to see Rilee tomorrow at our appointment and Robby and I are SOO excited!!
-Next weekend is our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (not like i'm excited or anything........)
-I get to see both my sisters next week and host them in our little basement! Greer girls under the same roof for a night and I am so excited!
